I am in a 10-man league and am in need of a QB. I am LOADED at WR. I know I need to trade up for a QB (currently starting Garcia) considering what I have at WR. I guess my question is, who would you part with out of the following two:

Larry Fitzgerald
or
Wes Welker

Scoring is
1 PP reception
6 PP TD
1 pt for every 10 recvg yards

I am really struggling on this one. I am thinking of offering him Welker, knowing that Brady and BB switch up game plan every few games -- I got Welker off the wire so I am thinking I bought low, maybe I should sell high.

BTW, my other starting wideout is Braylon Edwards, and I would replace the WR I trade with Santonio Holmes. And I am going after Derek Anderson.

PS I am tied for first at 8-1, and I am offering the trade to the last place team who is 1-8 and also has Roethlisberger on his bench.

I'd move Welker. His value will never be higher, and Larry is a top 10 fantasy NFL WR for sure. Zona will get it rolling.

Man that's a tough choice. I have been waiting for Welker to cool down and it's just not happening. I actually think you should move Fitzgerald; one reason is I think Welker will continue to put up great numbers and a second reason is that Fitzgerald is a more "marquee" name and the person you are trading with will probably want him more than Welker based on name recognition alone.

I also have Fitzgerald (and Welker too) and have noticed that when Boldin plays Fitzgerald's numbers aren't that great. I still really like Fitz though, with or without Boldin.

Tough decision man, good luck with whatever you do.

Thanks guys. I offered him Santonio Holmes, thinking that he might be enticed by the Big Ben/Holmes connection with both coming off a big game. We'll see what happens. If he declines I will be stuck again picking between Welker and Fitz -- that is, if I still want to trade. In the meantime I have picked up Kurt Warner -- he may do well enough to let me keep my WR core intact.

That is a good proposal. If it does not work out, I would move Fitzgerald. And I think you can safely ask for Manning in return. If that does not work, go with Carson Palmer. You will most likely make the playoffs, and Palmer has a great playoff schedule.

Unfortunately, Palmer's owner is a die-hard Bengals fan and won't let him go period. Manning's owner is an idiot and will not let him go for anything short of ridiculous.

Considering this guy is in last, is hurting at WR, and has Roethlisberger AND Anderson at QB...I should be able to make a trade that works out nicely for both of us.

Holmes for Anderson still waiting on his response...if he accepts I will have upgraded from Garcia to Anderson at QB for a BENCH WR. My lineup would be:

Derek Anderson
Westbrook
McGahee
Braylon Edwards
Fitzgerald
Welker
Todd Heap
Vinatieri
Detroit Defense

That would be by FAR the best starting lineup in this league.

He countered with Welker for Roethlisberger and I couldn't do it with Warner coming off a good performance.

Just gonna stand pat w/ Warner right now.
